debs
I tryed uploading some songs with sonic stage. At first they were detected so I went to transfer them and was told they were protected so I couldn't then Sonicstage claimed there were no files on my mini disc. These are live recordings & I know I didn't protect them how do I remove this?
A440
Are the files still on the disc? If so, just record them in realtime out of the headphone jack. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=7070I fear you are using an old version of SonicStage. Early versions would allow one upload of recordings and then DELETE them without warning if you tried to upload them again. If that has happened then they are probably gone. For the future, update SonicStage to 3.4 or later. Get it from Downloads.
debs
So even with it telling me they are protected they may still have been deleted from my disc?
vore
So even with it telling me they are protected they may still have been deleted from my disc?If you recorded over the previous recording you cannot retrieve the file. If your recorder/player says you have a blank disc due to accidental erasure you can restore the original disc if you have a deck or portable. Go here for info: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=19929best of luck.
A440
When you put the disc in your player, does it show tracks or No Track?

raintheory
Try plugging into a different USB port. You'd be surprised how often that seems to work for people on here.

A440
What minidisc unit are you using? Only Hi-MD units can upload.
