mjp_ Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 I put the battery into my Hi-MD unit (RH10) today to play it but nothing happened. As I haven't used the battery for quite a while, I decided to recharge it. When I plugged into the mains and press the cancel/chg button, I got a very brief display saying 'charging' and then it disappeared again within a second. I thought the word 'charging' stayed on display until it had fully charged. Has the battery gone wrong? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Try removing the battery for a few hours, then re-insert and try to charge.When not in use for several weeks, turn off the quick mode and/or remove the battery. As well as your tips, I've also bought a new rechargaeable battery and its working again.
