BIGHMW
I seem to have an issue with the jog dial on my Canadian NZ-NH700 I bought brand new NIP on eBay back 3 years ago, and I just wondered if Sony (for a fee) will fix it for me despite it being a Canadian-market unit?I also own a NIP NH600D, aa well as a second Canadian NH700 (coming soon on eBay) and a NIP Australian-market NH700 I picked up at MiniDisc Access back in May 2007, and a couple of RH710 units from Europe (one used, one NIP).Will they repair out-of-U.S.-market units?P.S.: I DO also use the 40ELK on my NH700 but every once in a while I would like to use the jog dial on the unit itself, such as in a home-based situation, such as when it's hooked uo to my hi-fi, when I am not on the road.Yes, I also own an RH1 that I use exclusively as an uploader/downloader and to upload legacy discs to the PC. sector001
best thing to do is to ask Sony USA...how's the radio remote working out? has it been acting up yet? Edited October 20, 2007 by sector001
BIGHMW
The radio remote is working great, but it sees only part-time action out there, as I don't listen too much to radio, except when I go to a (Seattle Mariners) ball game a Safeco Field just to listen to the play-by-play (with Dave Niehaus, Rick Rizzs and Dave Sims) of all the action as well as pick up vital stats such as lifetime BA vs. a certain pitcher, etc., or the occasional afternoon matinee game that may happen during my work time, so it is always great to have it around in case you do go on the road or to a sporting event where in-stadium/arena play-by-play is available, so thanks for the remote, it is cool of ya to do that, knowing that the NH700/NHF800 are sister units with that exclusive remote/phones jack.
