Question

From this article:

http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/conte...9;s+top+stories

Sony is hoping the new machine will help the company find its groove. This spring, Sony plans to introduce the new Walkman in the U.S., though execs decline to give any details of the launch. The three models, with disk drives ranging from 6 to 20 gigabytes, would broaden Sony's lineup in the U.S.

Note the mistake:

Article claims Sony has only offered flash-based Walkmans to the US market, which is simply not true.

Who knows if the rest is accurate.

... while the rumor is Apple is going to release a larger screen iPod (4" screen) in March/April. Probably also full length movies being sold in iTMS. Wow, does Sony even care about their portable audio business anymore? Unless they sell the Axxx dirt cheap ($200 for the A3000), nobody is going to care.

Businessweek might be confused with the PS3, which is supposed to be released in Spring.

It says three models. There is the 6GB A1000 and the 20GB A3000. Whats the third model? Could it be the 8GB A1200? That would be cool.

Or the flash based Axxx series. Funny that my local Bestbuy already has the placeholder for the Axxx on their shelves for a couple months now, but no product.
