NW-A3000 Hold Function

Hi guys,

Got my NW-3000 (black) about 2 months ago, and have one niggly thing that is bugging me . I cant find out how to "hold" the device when its switched off. Unlike my old iPod, I could switch the slide to hold, and yeay, safe from accidental battery wastage. However, I cant figure out how to do it on this. Other than that, I have no problems with my new toy, and as yet, havent seen anyone around town, or down the gym with one!

Any ideas or help would be appreciated!

I think that when this was discussed before, Ascariss (?) mentioned that to turn Hold on when player is off, you have to press Stop/Pause on the player. Turn on Hold, and let the player power off.

Yup that is how you do it.

once you stop it, press hold and on the screen will appear "hold on" then let the player turn off.

if you accidently press it while it is in your pocket, the screen will come on and say hold on, but if you don't remove hold, the unit will power off.

if you want to unlock it, press any button, then press hold again, to unlock the player. that simple.
