Power adaptor current requirements for the Sony MZ-R50 and R700

I have the MZ-R50 and the MZ-R700, but am currently stuck without power adapters for each. My plan is to solder some correctly-fitting adaptor plugs on two non-Sony universal adaptors, and use those as my units' power supplies.

Question: What amperage is required for these power adaptors? The user manuals for each say nothing about current, only voltage (6v and 3v, respectively.)
