Just got an e-mail from Minidisc Canada, thought I'de share. Not enough Karma to put it in the News category, so here goes:

"We don't send out many emails, but here is one worth reading!

Within the next month or so, we will be changing our web name from www.minidisc-canada.com to another....it's top secret, so we can't tell you yet! You will still be able to find the site from the old address until the end of time, so no need to worry about updating your favorites, you'll just be redirected.

Now the even bigger news.....

Over the next few months we will be introducing; Canon, Garmin, Magellan, Audio Technica and many more big names! If you see it in one of those big box stores and you don't see it on our site, email us and we'll get it for you.....and at a better price!

If you see an item on our site, and the price is higher than our competition, email us and we'll do our best to beat their price.....and we'll actually give you service and know what we're talking about.

We now have a pick up location in Montreal too, but please call first.

Not on the site yet, we have Canon cameras and Garmin GPS systems at great prices, so if you're ready to buy one now, send us the model and we'll quote you a price.

May explain some of the delays in shipping etc. over the last while, but I do seem to remember them changing their name a couple of years ago, but still keeping the minidisc canada link on, hopefully they still keep minidisc,

That is interesting , sounds like they are going to drop the "minidisc " part of the moniker , they are setting new anchors in the water .
