markey
Does anyone know best version of sonicstage? (user friendly etc.)
granbajo
I Have never used V2, and have used V3 since 3.1. I recommend you stick with 3.4 (which is the one that I have at the moment), it has all the latest fixes, and it works pretty well.

KJ_Palmer
For Hi-MD users SS3.4 is a must as it allows unrestricted uploads, and probably provides the most stable platform for other Sony users (apart from some exceptions)... If you must employ SonicStage for file conversion (Mp3 to ATRAC) and do not need the new additions brought about by version 3.4, stick with version 3.1 till we can discern why it's not working for you (within this thread). freebird2003
After rectifying some issues that i had earlier, i must say say that sonicstage 3.4 is very stable. it did not crash or hang in my computer. now i can convert and transfer without any problems. furthermore, obtaining cd info from gracenote was also stable and hassle free. the loading time for ss3.4 was also very fast. i can safely say ss 3.4, is the stable and fastest version so far. Thanks

chatoyer
Just a few weeks ago, I did a re-build of my Thinkpad and obviously had to re-install SS. I was surprised (and a little nervous) when the online installer grabbed 3.4. Have to say: works quite well (was previously using 3.1 without any problems).
