Strungup
For Portable the only IC or Flash based recorder that will compare in the " Budget realm "is the PCM-D50 .......... I want one myself Edited June 8, 2008 by Guitarfxr
A440
The specs for it are here:http://www.pczocker.de/sony-icdux-schwarz-...gok4898ego1cu65Frequency response is 40-20000 Hz, not ideal (20-20000) but surprising in a voice recorder. However, we have no idea whether the built-in mics are made to record voice, which would mean they would have a strong bias toward the midrange--no highs or lows. Also, I can't figure out from the recording times what kind of bitrate it is using. It might be good enough for voice and not for music. I wouldn't trust it, but I'd be curious to see someone try to record music with it.
ramblie
So far I know, the ICDUX just made for voice only, not the music purpose...
