Besides HI MD Transfer 2.0 for Mac.

There are some very cool ways to get jams . And Also ways to work around problems with MSN Video .

If your using Safari ( I have no need for three or four browsers) , When you klik on a link to an MSN video , your greeted with " Your Browser isnt supported " ......pure BS

Try this , klik on a MSN video link , where that message pops up in Safari , now.......instead of closing that window or hitting the Back Arrow in the Browser frame ,

Hit the Delete key . you will be looking at the Video page , from there , klik the MUsic tab , select an artist , and the little + buttonat the bottom right in each of the video frames on the page , adds them to a Playlist ,........................ bam load them , then in the Video window that actualy plays the vids , bottom right is the fullscreen button

Line out to your MD , Headphones or Line out from the MD to your speakers , there you go .

Watching Sheryl Crow , with 15 videos in the Playlist full screen right now .

Have fun

( The Last Video , is actually the entire concert 82 minutes 11 seconds)

More Mac tips

" REC " is a very simple recording program for mac , it has gone thru some changes . It was recently updated to version 2.1 and is a UB for intel

This prog lets you select a Region of a recording , and exporting it as AIFF or WAV , also you can select the entire file and export that (Just dont selct anything and it will use the whole file)

It also records , has a nice meter , and you can monitor the input , as well as select bit rates . but that is the extent of its capabilities , as I said it is a VERY simple prog , but that is a good thing . Audacity is for effects and more fine detail editing .

REC uses very little process power ( hardly any at all )

differences are , the early version of REC ( I have both ) version 1 was an 8 channel recorder , .....simply record 8 channels simultaniously and export as individual wav files ,

Version 2 is a simple 2 channel recorder with a Loop function , Very useful for creating Apple Loops for Garage Band or , Drum Loops for any other editor , or Import a file and export JUST the guitar solo , as a separate file, Interviews could be broken down into constituant parts , and the renamed as individual tracks .

Or a Concert that you recorded on the MD ,........ Highlight a part of the file klik the "Write " button ( the prog is from Europe ) and a window pops up , Name it , tell it were to put it , klik save your done

Here is Version 2.1

When you use REC , here is another tip , Go to System Preferences and open "Sound " leave it open , so that Both REC and Sound are open side by side ,

You now have Level Control and Input selection from the sound window
