ScottyK
I have the MZ-NH600D player that recently came back from the Sony repair Depot. I discovered a sony rechargeable battery in the player (NH-7WMAA). Since my player won't recharge it via the USB cable, is there another way to charge it?I have a recharger for my Energizer batteries that I use, would I blow anything up if i stuck the sony battery in there? The sony battery is a 1.2V 700mAh, while the energizer batteries are 1.2 V 2500mAh.
greenmachine
You could use the supplied AC adapter to recharge if available. If the Energizer charger (a model no. would help) doesn't charge in pairs and has a delta-V detection, it can be used with any battery. A timed charger that is set for 2500 mAh batteries or an uncontrolled one could overcharge the 700 mAh batteries (dangerous!). Of course, you could also use a higher capacity battery like the Energizers in the 600D.
