Sir Roger DeLodgerley Posted March 20, 2006 Report Share Posted March 20, 2006 Can anyone offer any help with a problem I am having buring tracks to an audio CD? The problem started when I upgraded to SonicStage 3.4 but has persevered even when I uninstalled 3.4 and reinstalled my original version (2.3). I'm back on 3.4 now with no improvement.The problem happens when trying to burn tracks to CD. The burn process appears to be working as normal but only ever gets to 99% complete (display shows 0.00.00 remaining time) and then hangs. The CD cannot be ejected without shutting down SonicStage and when inserted into another CD player there are no tracks present.I've approached Sony for assistance and they have not been able to come with any useful suggestions. granbajo Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 I had a similar situation once when burining data CD's (nothing to do with Sonic Stage). It turned out that I was using the worng speed. You have to make sure that both your CD Burner, and your media are the right ones for the speed that you are burning at. You can change the settings in the Options menu. I just looked at mine, and I believe the default there is 24x. That might be the reason for it! chiefj Posted April 5, 2006 Report Share Posted April 5, 2006 I am using XP home with sp2 and a P4 2.5 Gig CPU 1.5 gig memory I am Having the same problem but I only use SS to burn ATRAC CD's for my D-NF610 or my D-NE920. I do not want to have to have 2 databases of 5000 songs on my computer one MP3 and the other ATRAC. I need the SS for my VAIO pocket and other music players. I use NERO or my Musicmatch to burn everything else they still work fine.I had version 3.0 on my RZ-14G computer when Sonic Stage stopped burning CD's I upgraded to 3.4 but it did not help.
