Hatebreed
Yesterday I retired an old friend of mine, one thats been there for me for 6 yrs, and has never let me down and is still rockin hard to this very day. My little Mini Disc player Its been around for six years going on seven now, and still playing as good & hard as the day i bought it. Its been dropped in snow, on sidewalks, and rocked everywhere from dusty warehouses & nightshifts to delivery vehicles where the roads were so bad it was literally bouncing off the dash and it NEVER missed a beat.It was for over a year known as IPK, 'the ipod killer'. It got this name working while working for the city, and through construction work, heavy labour and rain, snow and summer heat it soldiered on. Meanwhile i-pods were dropping like flies, and after about the 4th one died and my MD was already 5 yrs old and outlasting them all it got the nickname of the i-pod killer. All this and my little MD 600 is going strong to this day. And to be honest, i actually feel very guilty for putting it aside. Its never failed me, done me wrong or missed a beat or screwed up a song. So its with great pride, and a bit of guilt that i finally put it into its well earned retirement as a next gen-player takes its hoveled place.Farewell old friend. Enjoy your retirement. ..... That is.. if you dont out last my new one lol
