conradbrooklyn Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 hey, i've just bought on Ebay minidisc player MZ-E707, i've used MZ-NH600D (HI-MD)before i broke it, today i was trying to listen my discs (which i recorded with NH600D) and my 'new' MZ-E707 cant play them, because this E707 is not an recorder,i have no idea what to do with all these discs. do i need buy minidisc deck?, i feel a little bit disapoinment because MZ-E707 should play all type of LP2, LP4. please give some advice.i think MZ-NH600D was my best minidisc player ever Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kardon Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 Well it sounds to me like the discs you have recordered with you NH600D were either the 1GB Discs, or standard 74/80min disc's formated to Hi-MD specification, and from there you used either a Hi-LP or Hi-SP codec, which would only be readable by a unit (recorder OR player) that is compatable with Hi-MD. You could look online for a NetMD player and then use that with your computer (I figure seeing as your 600 was a 600D you must have been using a computer) and then sending your music files at a LP2 or a redundant SP format.
