Strungup
Hi there I am using the latest version of Sony sonic stage, transfers from my MP3 music go onto my Net Md MZ-N710 without any problem and also play back with great sound quality the problem is when I come to play the mini disc on my stacker system DHC MD 373 there is no sound, it reads the disc and plays the disc but alas silence prevails, when I transfer the music from sonic stage I am pressing ATRAC to transfer onto the Net MD Please help to solve this problem ( I knew I should have gone for a MP3 player Many thank PeachesOk I looked up the DHC MD373 . it was a pre 1999 unit , (96 -97 I believe) , which means it is Pre Net Md , and Pre LP Mode It is a SP mode only unit , so when you transfer from SS to the 710 you need to make sure it is transfered in SP mode only . Then you should hear it , but the caveat is that it is such an old unit the ATRAC versions are different , I have had issues with new recordings on Older units prior to the MZ-R50 ....... My MZ1 will not play any discs recorded on anything newer than my MZ-R3 , if I record on the R50 it wont play in the MZ1 2000 or so is when LP was introduced across the board in all Sony Md stuff , bookshelf and Portable . Net Md followed 2 years after . I will call this one Operator error , not equipment , just lack of knowledge . Ask of the equipment what it is Capable of , it wont let you down , ask of it what it wont do , then you have problems .
