0 bogon07
Windows sound recorder has the option to increase or decrease the volume of a wave file by 25% increments. It would be possible to use that to increase the volume of a song in *.wav format then import it into SonicStage to convert to an ATRAC file.Dedicated audio editing programs may have more options open to manipulating sound files but probably not directly on ATRAC files. 0 MZ-1
I haven't found a way for ATRAC, either. I don't think there is a nomalization option in Sonic Stage. The only issues with volume I might have are some very early (1983-1985) CD's which were usually mastered with less compression and lower overall levels to avoid any possibility of distortion (back in the days when CD was fighting for marketshare).Generally, I find that the volume of the recordings transferred via ATRAC match those of the internal FM radio so I'm happy.Paul

0 unixseb
i suggest you normalize your audio datas before encoding them to atrac format.what i do is rip the cds in wav files, normalize the waves and then convert them to mp3 (or any other format)
