granbajo
It has been a while since the last updates for SonicStage and Connect came out. Any news from those in the know of when the next reeleases are expected? Are they really coming?
willykyu
I was wondering this for a long long time too. No updates, now news about connect relaunch (which had to be out in March... hum hum). I'm really REALLY wondering what they're up to. I still don't use my A3000 as I don't have a decent software to use and transfer music, and organise it easily, with all the functions available (SS with Unicode would be the least they could do, as Applocale is messing up everything on a French Windows and French SS...).No updates either for Do Vaio/ Viao Zone for full compatibility with the last non DRM atrac files, etc atc.Is SONY sleeping? They give us reports on what they plan to do, on what they're doing right now, ask us questions etc. That's nonsense...
mgillespie
This is WORST part. My NWA-3000 is unusable with Connect, and a pain in the butt with SonicStage, Sony UK are totally hopeless, cannot fix the issues, have no idea if or when any fixes are coming.I may as well have bough the cheapest nastiest MP3 player on the market, considering the product and support quality Sony have delivered with the NW-A series..Very disapponted. :-(Someone from Sony, PLEASE tell us what the hell is going on. The longer you leave us in the dark, the more frustrated we are getting with your Walkman series.
Guest Stuge
I think we should forget about Connect ..as they are very confused now
JSP62
Sony is aware of this issue in more ways than one. There was some other thread in here that spoke of this specific issue that Sony knows of the woes and is currently working on it. Of course we don't know when to expect this, for Sony does not know/understand themselves.Sony makes a great product, I am sure all of us can agree BUT their support software is horrible. They need good software to compliment the hardware, otherwise the good aspect is overlooked. If I were to make a shot in the dark, I would have to say with the developement of the HD DVD and the work on the PS3 that Sony has their hands full. All attention is probably put on this. The PS3 is/will be incorporated into CONNECT therefore work and testing needs to be done to be included in the new version. Unfortunately PS3 is delayed and as a result CONNECT is in limbo. That's my 2 cents Edited April 4, 2006 by JSP62
