flamaest
And you paid 100€ for a 292kbps recording device?! Congrats... Wow, that is a sweet unit. If I recall correctly, aren't these the industrial units which you can make exact duplicate copies of MDs with? They used to be worth a fortune.Thanks,F. kino170878
For professional use Standard MD hardware easily wins over Hi-MD units with their small fiddly buttons and needless restrictions.Optical out, are you listening Sony? Heaven forbid they actually try to manufacture a professional Hi-MD deck one day....Yes and that lossless copying function of discs is fantastic. Of course you would need at least two units linked up but I believe it is at 4x speed. Good luck!

A good old MDS-W1 allows you to duplicate and defrag an entire minidisc at once !

PhilippeC
Probably the most complete example of a minidisc unit ever made. I have two myself Actually I just bought it to have a MD unit with an optical out to plug into a Digital Audio Convertissor (like my Arcam Balck Box 3 that I have in France). I suppose that the music will sound better compare to analogue out. Can you confirm that to me ? Could this machine sound better than an MD deck, that is also a question. Anyway, I need to come back in France first (next summer) to check the possibility of the machine. Then I will bring back the machine in Vietnam where I live.Tascam MDCD 1 MK2, a professional MD also has CD and MDLP : http://cgi.ebay.fr/Platines-MiniDisc-Tasca...2|39:1|240:1318much much more expensive anyway !
