gabgar
I have not taken off the little display protector that came on my M200 but was wondering if I do would it scratch easily?Looks like the PSP finish. Are there any screen protectors or so I have to custom make one out of say an Ipod ready screen overlay? KJ_Palmer
It almost certainly will scratch, so it's best not to take the chance. I use a PDA screen protector cut to size for all my players' screens, though anything similar should do the job just as well.
gabgar
Thank you Barock. I will do some custom cutting later. I want to keep it in pristine state.(if possible).
KJ_Palmer
No probs, gabgar. I also keep my RH1 in a neoprene case (from one of my older MD units) to help prevent the bodywork from getting scratched. It still looks as good as new after well over 2 years.. gabgar
Awesome, hearing how long you have had lets me know that it has lasted well.....and should be very sturdy for years to come. When you first bought did you ever noticed that the display area, well not actually the frontal display but on the edges like where the buttons are, did that look like it had small hairline scratches? I am assuming that because of the fragility of the plastic that it was just the way it was molded from the factory.
KJ_Palmer
Not sure about when I first got it, but there are now a very few little 'hairline' scratches or marks around the buttons, as you described. Just on the (plastic) bit that joins the display part. Only about 2 or 3 of them and they are very small, you can only see them in a direct light. Nothing to worry about, I'm not anyway. There are no other marks or scratches etc. on the body...
