gabgar
Hope this is the right place to ask this but does anyone know if you can hook up the MZ-M200/RH1 to the following Car Stereo or Comparable that has an auxiliary in the front and will the sound be just as good? Interested in doing this instead of having to look for a Minidisc Receiver on Ebay to buy and I would think that it would be much more economical.....( haven't had the experience to do this, maybe I could stop at a Best Buy or other electronic store and plug my Mz-m200 there. I'm pretty sure I am going to get a look or a comment saying " Dude why don't you just get an Ipod"
gujarati
I have been using Cassette adapter to listen to my MiniDisc player in car. SQ seems good to me except for the cassette rotation noise. Any comments on that.Auxillary should be as good as the player itself. I may be wrong though. KJ_Palmer
No - don't get an I-Pod!! Just connect a 3.5mm (both ends) stereo cable to the aux in of your car stereo and your M200/RH1's line out (headphone out with the remote removed). Put the M200/RH1 into line out mode, and the sound through your stereo will sound just as good as you could wish for...
gabgar
believe me, i would not get an IPOD. Well technically i have one which is the iphone...but never really use it for music..I know that if I would hook it up that it would be more convenient to carry all your music collection or most of it....but nah, I love the Minidisc ....Thanks for the suggestion there Barock. I had thought that is all you have to do since I have hooked up my other minidisc player in that way to the Bose PC Speakers line input that I had and it worked..... bobt
Some Sony car decks let you use a device called Connect2 which plugs into your RH1 and into the car deck, lets your car deck control the MD unit, they are getting hard to find, but it is worth the trouble if you can. If not, the 1/8 to 1/8 cable works well.Bob
