You obviously do not know what Phantom power is . What the Entire line of Md recorders supply is called " Plugin Power " . It is a Low voltage Bias current supply for small tie clip or similar microphones that do NOT use Phantom power

Phantom Power = 9 -> 52 volts DC filtered , 2 -> 4 Milliamp current supplied to both a Positive and a Floating negative terminal for Mics that are Balanced ( XLR connectors) in which you have a Ground , a Minus , and a Positive ........

Md's supply a standard Positive + Ground .......... not a Phantom Power .

HHB's Pro Md recorder does supply Phantom , but it is XLR Connection for Pro mics .

All Portable MD recorders supply Plug in Power , to the Mic in Socket . it is generally 1.2 volts , to about 2.7 depending on which recorder and about 2 ma's .

Hope that answers your question
