gccengineering1996
I am always having trouble installing and reinstalling Sonicstage Net MD software cause of a problem that my computer, and it is called the Incompatibility problem (windows logo issue), same problem when I was trying to install my Webcam. The computer I am using with the Net MD software is the SR2010NX Compaq Presario desktop computer. My operating system is Windows XP service pack 3. I don't know if Windows 7 will be compatible with Sonicstage 4.3. If someone could help me out and give me some links that would help me and possibly others out in this forum that would be great. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Happy 2010. Adam E.

darrencouch
Anymore, I use Line out and record in realtime off my Linux computers-using either xmms2 or Rhythmbox, VLC etc for playback. Slow, but better quality in the long run. You can use virtualbox or vmware and run an instance of WinXP with SS or MDsimpleburner.
Avrin
SonicStage 4.3 "Ultimate" works fine with 32-bit Vista by design, and worked with 32-bit Windows 7 for several users here. With 64-bit versions, you'll need to use a virtual machine with a 32-bit version of Windows to work with NetMD units. The "Ultimate" version is also strongly recommended for 32-bit Windows 2000/XP because of its really stable OpenMG 5.0 kernel and driver compatibility.
