Non DRM MP3's

Question

I have a NW-A1000. I believe I can only download non-DRM MP3's. With the most popular sites (iTunes, Napster, Yahoo...) all being DRM I'm prettyy much out if luck. Is this correct? Are there any reputable sites for downloading tracks out there?

P.S. I'm in Canada so Sony Connect store is not an option. Why they would sell a player in a market and not allow access to the store is beyond me !

Thanks.

Here's a legal option, go to your local CD store and buy the actual AudioCD. If you cannot find your favorite artist, there are many online stores selling CDs.

Not so legal option, but free: MIRC, Bittorrent. I leave it to you to figure them out.

Note that none of the legal online download stores use MP3. iTunes uses DRMed AAC. Napster and Yahoo use DRMed WMA. All of them are not compatible with any Sony devices.

The longer option is to use something like audacity to re-record the DRM locked file to an un touched MP3 works for me :) I also use it to convert DVD concerts to MP3 so I can listen to them in my car :)
