Batfink82
Hi I'm new to this forum and I need some help!I have just formatted my pc and decided to install Sonicstage 3.4. Unfortunately I can no longer transfer music on to my NW-HD1. I formatted the pc and the NW_HD1, then i copied my mp3 files back on to the pc from my external hard drive. I then imported the mp3s into sonicstage 3.4 and tried to transfer them to my player. (i did this in the same way i have done thousands of times before. However when transfering the tracks are not converted and message pops up saying that 'transfers are not allowed'!Does anyone know why this is? and how i can over come it? Should i go back to sonicstage 2.1/2.3?ThanksBatfink82
JSP62
I that the only message you get? Is there any other explaination or error code?Take a screenshot and post please. PS - I do not see any reason why this should be unless something got screwed up somewheres. It would be crazy for a Sony product not to function with Sony software, but not unheard of (Connect, SS woes) Edited May 3, 2006 by JSP62

Batfink82
thanks for the help, but i had already tried that.i have now tried ss3.4 with my NWA-1000 (this has not been formatted) it works perfectly and transfered tracks straight away!i then tried transfering excatly the same track to my NW-HD1 but it came up with the same error so i'm confused.I can only think that it a problem with the playercould it be because my NW_HD1 has not been upgraded to play mp3s?looks like i might have to reinstall ss2.1...........................
