manosalexiou
I have bought a Sony NWZ-X1050 ex-demo unit. However no one from Sony Greece tech service seems to know how to disable the Demo mode. Any ideas? Thanks
0 Avrin
It looks like there's absolutely no information on this problem. Theoretically, it may be possible to reset the mode by fully formatting the player from Windows, since most settings are actually saved in physical files on the player. But I don't promise anything, since I have no idea how the demo mode is set, and there is no information on this in any service manual for SONY players. And don't forget to backup any music, videos or documents the player may contain, before you format it.
0 manosalexiou
I've tried formating but it only erased the data. However a solution has been found: while pressing the options icon, press once the top three buttons (left, middle, right) then press twice the left button and twice the right button. Finally release the options icon. The player will restart into normal operating mode.
