Did you install the firmware on a full battery?

When I installed the firmware on the other halfs 3000 it wouldn't let me untill there was enough charge in the battery for it to install it by itself. It came up with a splash screen saynig "Charge Device First".

BTW..My firs post, been lurking for months....The drinks are on me.

Yeh, the A1000/3000 likes to let you know if there isn't enough charge before updating the firmware.

Finglonga, welcome to the forum.

If you have installed Sonicstage that will rob the computer of any interaction with the device, and if you plug in the NW-A3000, it should load up SonicStage 4.0, thats if you have installed it.

I found this out when i installed Sonicstage 4, and it didnt work properly, heck i found it 10x worse than Connect Player...

So what i found you have to do is go to initialise disk in the settings, and then plug it in your computer, it "should" come back to life.

@Topicstarter. Did you solve the problem?

Yesterday I tried to plug my A3000 to my computer and the device was not recognised by my computer. After that the complete player is dead. It will not start up anymore and when I put it in the cradle everytime the usb error will appear.

The unit is completly charged and the reset button doesn't do anything.

Can somebody help me??
