JSP62 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Share Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) All I see is problems problems and more problems with 4.0.I am scared to even try to upgrade and I do not see myself doing this anytime soon.3.4 is working fine for me and I firmly believe if it's not broke don't try to fix it when it comes to SS.To just go over an example situation and if my fellow ATRACERS can give me their opinion, I would be very grateful to heard from you!If one was to upgrade to 4.0 and was receving errors (too many to discuss, but we all know them) would I be able to downgrade? Saying we could , it would already be too late because the damage is already done to the DAP. Is this correct to say ?? You can certainly downgrade your version of SonicStage - just follow the instructions as outlined within "SonicStage Software FAQ."Note: I've edited your poll to reflect the additional option. I see alot of posts from people and they all seem unhappy.ThanksDid you saw my comments on SonicStage CP 4 (you will find it somewhere in the forum)??IMO you should upgrade SonicStage ver3.4 to SonicStage CP 4 but before doing that ,do backup your data using SonicStage backup tool. Borat Posted June 6, 2006 Report Share Posted June 6, 2006 SS 4.0 CP is working fine for me - on 3 separate computers, including 2 laptops. In fact on one PC where SS3.4 was not working properly, installing SS 4.0 fixed everything. I'd hate to be wrong for your sake, but I'd say go ahead - take the plunge and enjoy SS 4.0...
