Question

Hello,

I've just purchased a refurbished Sony Vaio VGN-NW350F. I had recently owned another Sony Vaio whoch lasted FOREVER and was seemingly indestructible. So I have a good experienced with the brand. My new laptop is only 2 days old.

My problem is when I have the laptop plugged in the screen dims and is only at full brightness when it is unplugged from the adapter. I would like to have it at full brightness as the default setting.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to adjust this setting. Thx for your help.

I hate to sound so curt, but since the laptop is brand new, wouldn't Sony or the store that sold it to you be better qualified to answer your question? Or even the manual may explain how to set the different brightness options for each different power configuration?

You should head over to the Notebook Review forums: http://forum.notebookreview.com I post there for several different laptops I own and there are no shortage of experts for every model. I also frequent Notebook Forums: http://www.notebookforums.com/f/, not quite as well trodden, but a great resource all the same.

We don't seem to get too many folks here posting about their laptops, just the occasional straggler ... Good luck figuring out your problem.
