I have seen them on eBay but they are not too common to find alone. I am sure you could order one directly from Sony. There are also several other remotes from other units which will control the device and display track data but not give full functionality. I bought one a while ago for around 40UKP, and I think you'd be lucky to find either a new one or a good condition second-hand one for less than that.
