USED AND NEW HI-MD MINIDISCS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. THANKS FOR LOOKING. I have for sale one used Sony MZ-RH10 Hi-MD Minidisc recorder/player. Original owner. Purchased March of 2006 from Sony store in Hamiltion Ontario Canada. Machine is in very good condition and is completely functional. OLED display is fully functional.( No burned out or missing lines) All original cardboard packaging, included. USB cable, included.(never used) Inline headphone remote and packed in earbuds, included.(never used) Original AC adaptor included. This is a very high quality cable with black shrink wrap and ceramic RCA connectors that comes with it's own carrying pouch with Velcro seal. This is used in the transfering of analogue signals, either to or from the player. Will allow direct recording of analogue signals from the outputs of a disc player or will facilitate hooking up your the MZ-RH10 to your home audio system. One high quality Ultralink mini to standard Toslink cable,(one metre). ______________________________________________________________________________________ I also have for sale several Sony 1GB Hi-MD minidiscs. 17 in total. 15 are used, all with plastic cases, all in excellent condition. Two absolutely Brand New, unopened, factory sealed, Sony 1GB Hi-MD minidiscs *** Also for anyone who purchases the entire package I will include for free(buyer pays extra shipping charges only, if any) the following items.*** 1-Alice In Chains-Unplugged pre-recorded minidisc with original case. 1-Sony MZ-N1 NetMD minidisc recorder/player with original carrying case, both in very good condition. (MZ-N1 currently does not record but plays back fine. There is a fix for this issue posted in a thread on the Sony minidisc forum.) 1pair- of Shure E3C IEM's (in ear monitors) with zippered carrying case and several unused multi-sized tips. ( earphones are still functional but may have some operational issues) 1-Case Logic zippered multi-pocketed carrying case for the transportation of portable playback devices and software. I will give preference to an individual who is prepared to purchase the entire package. I will not seperate the MZ-RH10 and the discs until I have given sufficient time for someone to purchase the entire package. If no one steps forward to purchase the entire package I will then seperate the discs and the player for sale, but will only sell the discs seperately once the MZ-RH10 has sold. No exceptions. Therefore if you really only want the discs it may be worth it to buy the entire package and then sell the MZ-RH10 seperately afterward. For now I am only interested in shipping within Canada and the U.S. At a later date if package does not sell, I may consider shipping overseas. I am a fairly new member here and have never sold anything in the classified section, but I have spotless feedback both on AudiogoN and Canuck Audio Mart under the username good sound, (CAM) and my actual name (AudiogoN). Here are links to my feedback at both sites. http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/userfeedback.php?user_id=5395 http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fb.pl?user=rcrerar As far as the discs themselves are concerned the fifteeen used ones currently have music recorded on them in uncompressed PCM format, recorded directly from the analogue outputs of my Esoteric universal disc player. I can ship the discs with the music on them or I can re-format(erase) the discs prior to shipping, buyers choice. This is not a new, unused or mint condition MZ-RH10, so collectors looking for such will have to look elsewhere. Also this is probably not the MZ-RH10 for anyone looking to find a screaming deal that is well below the current average going rate. I have however, I feel, priced the player very fairly especially considering the condition, completenss of the package and all of the extras. I am not in a position where I am forced to sell due to financial restraints so therefore my prices are very fair and quite firm for the time being. I have invested considerable time and effort to create and post this ad and I am serious about selling this package so please, serious inquiries only. All shipping charges and/or Paypal fees, if used, are the responsibility of the buyer. I am asking US$175 for the MZ-RH10 which includes the two extra cables and all original packaging and original accesories. I am asking US$275 for the collection of 17 1GB Hi-MD minidiscs. Two new, fifteen used. I am willing to work out a reasonable discount for someone who is interested in purchasing both the discs and the MZ-RH10, plus of course that person will also receive the free extras mentioned in the body of this ad if they so desire. I am located in and items will ship from Ontario Canada All pictures posted are of the actual items included in the sale. Thank you for taking the time to read my admitedly very lengthy ad. I like to be thorough. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
darkdark
what is the problem about shure e3c? is 275USD only for 17 hi-md?
goodsound12
what is the problem about shure e3c? is 275USD only for 17 hi-md? I'm not sure one way or the other if there is any problems with the Shure earphones to tell you the truth. They have had a lot of use and the last time I used them , which was sometime ago, they just didn't seem to sound as good as they used to. This may have had something to do with my replacing them with a new pair, much higher up in the Shure line. Remember that the Shure's are just a free throw in for someone who purchases both the MZ-RH10 and the mindiscs as a package deal. Yes the 275US dollars is the price for the Hi-MD discs only. If you look at any of the curent listings online for new and used Hi-MD minidiscs, and there aren't very many listings, you will see that I am asking less than what is normally asked in todays market for them. They are becoming increasingly more difficult to come by. I found a listing on e-bay for a single used disc for $25. I found a listing for two new discs for $45 each. I found a lsiting here for 5 of the old style used discs for $110 US. My price works out to $15 each for the 15 used discs which is not much more than I paid for them, and $25 each for the two new ones. $15X15 equals $225 plus $25 X2($50) equals $275US total for the 17 discs. These prices are below what is currently advertised in any active online sales or auctions I could find. Plus keep in mind I am willing to work out a reasonable discount for anyone who is wiling to purchase both the discs and the MZ-RH10 together, which would further reduce the overall price somewhat. I am open to offers but like I stated in the ad I am not in a must sell position or in other words I really have no reason to sell for any more below fair market value than I already am. If someone can point out recent and relavent anecdotal evidence to illustrate that my pricing is out of line with reality, I am more than open to receiving this imformation as long as it is current and relevant and legitimate, in other words referencing identical product in identical condition. Obviously if I fail to generate any significant interest at my asking price then I may have to reconsider what I am asking, or even more likley just hang on to the items for now. Hopefully that makes my position clear for everyone. If someone is seriously interested in what I am offering I am sure we can come to an agreement on price as long as that someone isn't looking for some rare screaming bargain, well below average market value. I honestly feel the asking price provides an excellent and fair value for whoever decides to purchase this package when you take into consideration all that is being offered for that price. goodsound12
Well, maybe I should put mine up for auction on e-bay. Check out this auction from California. Just the machine and AC adaptor and nothing else. It still has more than six hours left to go. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-Minidisc-Recorder-MZ-RH10-HI-MD-/111001865924?pt=US_Personal_MiniDisc_Recorder&hash=item19d83a0ec4
Azureal
Wow, that bare-bones unit with no accessories ended up selling for $285! Anyone looking for a nice RH10 needs to have another look at goodsound12's unit. I wish I had the cash for it now. :-(

goodsound12
Have posted an auction on e-bay for the RH10 without the discs. High bid already above $200US as of the time of this psting after just twenty-four hours, so RH10 itself is no longer for sale here. Discs are stil available for now but may soon post them on e-bay as well. Make an offer for the discs if interested.
Azureal
That's great news! Congrats. I am sure you will be able to sell the blanks as well. I know you want to off-load them all at once, but you may have better luck with groups of three or four. Not everyone has a large chunk of cash to spend at once on 17 discs.
