Manic_Miner
Only had the a3000 a few days, great bit of kit.... BUTIt is too easy to statup it up. If you touch any of the buttons it powers up !!Sony tech support said there is no fix for it.I am surprised Sony let this slip through the net, they are usually pretty good.I have read a lot of reviews / forums but nobody has mentioned this 'feature'.I think I'm going to find it hard to live with if I can't find a solution to this.Open to Ideas.... 0 granbajo
You need to put it on hold before it powers down (it is a weird one BTW), to avoid the playing turning itself on by mistake. In other words, once you want to stop using it, stop the player, do not power it down, and then put it on hold by pressing the hold key. The unit will turn itself off a few seconds later and will not turn fully on until you have removed the hold. Hope this helps
