Greetings All,

I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this, but here goes. The headphone that came with my MD player are getting a bit ratty and I was wondering where one would go to get a replacement set. Does Shure carry something that will work, or is this something I'll have to hunt for on EBay? Thanks.

Not sure if I would buy them on ebay - may be fakes?

what is this about Sure? I always used Sony MDR-ED21 but they are now discontinued. I am on my last pair. I see there is some thing similar in looks to them MDR-12 which dont cost much.

These have the ear insert that makes for better volume and evener tone that the old mdr 21 have.

if u want a over ear type that is v good you could try the Sennheiser PX-100

eg

I have the earlier version and mini disc drives them well & loud. Very nice sound. They are collapsable with adjustable headband and mine came in a nice eye glass shape case, now a pouch. The are very light and dont give you headaches due to excessive pressure.

Also you dont look a real twat wearing these in public unlike those ppl who wear the fullsze things

not cheap anymore from many places

Hi there, first off - love the avatar - looks like Jason from "Battle of the Planets".

The default headphones that come with music players are normally not very good - I would recommend a pair of Sennheiser PX-200 headphones. They are probably the best portable headphones I have ever heard. I've had them >5 years and when the earpads got tatty I found replacements on eBay quite cheaply.
