patkim
Hello Everyone, I have Sony Vaio VPCYB15AG laptop. It's about 1.5 years old and out of warranty. It’s time I need to replace the HDD. Existing one gets detected in BIOS but has almost failed. Sony Center engineer suggested not to go for Advanced format HDD. I guess today most of the HDDs could very well be AF. Also the one I already have in the laptop is Toshiba MK 3259GSXP & it seems to be AF. Would it cause any issues while installing Win 7 starter. I have the recovery disks created earlier. Any guidance would be great. Thanks.
