Question

Hi,

I just bought one of these and i've had a lot of problems. I just started transferring songs when sonicstage just broke down, and turned off , prompting a windows error msg. Then the files in the player were all screwed up, so i formatted the player. Through the menu >> initialize >> format.

But now the computer says that the player is empty! free disk space = 0bytes total disk space = 0 bytes!

And i can't put any files inside, can't transfer songs also.

I've called the seller, and he said he encountered this problem b4 , which was when a girl deleted some files in the player, which i haven't done. And he has not said anything on how to fix it.

Anyone seen this problem b4?

please help.

Ah, i tried that. Everything. At last i noticed that i need to hold the player jammed to the USB in order for the com to recognize my player. It works fine, but i don't fancy keeping my hand there when i want to transfer songs....so i guess the USB jack of the player is screwy. I called the seller again, he told me to send back to him to send to sony to fix...

Tq anyways

The player just arrived, so far in perfect condition. Transferred 1GB worth of songs using Sonicstage, which is pretty troublesome compared to my last player, a samsung ( drag-and-drop) , but the thing really is beautiful.

Thanks for your concern , dude, the shopkeeper just gave me another player in exchange (same type ) and all is fine.
