Sugarfree
I just got my Nw-Hd5 on wednesday. i knew sonic stage was pretty gay, and... yeh...it is. it takes ages for file transfer. but i can wait.yesterday i set it to copy all my music(27gig) to player, and make em 64kb/s atrac files. i stopped it half-way, to check out how it sounds... it sounded sh*te. so i initialised player hdd and connected it again, to set it on 128 kb/sec atrac. and then i realised that i got 3 gb of free disk space on my PC! i swear god, this morning i had 6! i unistalled sonic stage, but my space is still gone... where does sonicstage keep its files, so i can delete em and start all over?i use sonicstage4
JSP62
Because you didn't specify the specs of your comp, I shall assume WINXP.C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\SonicStage\Packages\Optimized FilesPS - Be careful uploading large amounts of files. I heard freeze problems a lot. Your guess is as good as mine as to the specific reason why (SS sucks?...HAHA). Upload 5 GB at a time just to play it safe.Good Luck Edited August 25, 2006 by JSP62

The R-W!N8r
Under Options you can find Advanced Settings. Here you can delete temporary files, if I'm correct this also deletes Attrac files that were created solely for transfering tracks to a device

If you ripped CDs in ATRAC or purchased music from Connect music store, it will not touch those OMA files, as it won't touch any of your wma/aac/etc.. only OMAs created during conversion & transfering to your walkman
