Thanks for the answer, thats olmost useless amount of codecs!

Just get a copy of Image Converter (doesn't do direct DVD conversion), PSP Media Manager, or one of the other multitudes DVD-to-PSP converters. They run from free to about $25.00.

While the PSP might not have the wides range of codec support, it does make it pretty simple to decide what format to use. It is too bad Sony gambled (and lost) on the UMD video idea. It would be nice if Sony updated the firmware to allow ripped videos to be shown in full screen at resolutions higher than currently offered. If the PSP had the capabilities of the Cowon A2, they would have a great PSP/Game Machine.
