b0ng0
Are you connected to the internet? Doing this allows you to use intelligent features.Otherwise, plug you MP3 in to your PC and let it update the player before you try and do anything or it will shit all over you, as you have just seen. maxthrusters
This happens because your device thinks it is a different computer due to the format. To recover you will need to use the SonicStage Backup Tool to restore your library. If you did not use the tool to backup prior to formatting the computer, your library is lost and the only option is to initialize the player (deletes all tracks unfortunately) and reload your music again. To verify this is the case, look in SonicStage options, Transfer. Select your device, and select the Intelligent Features tab. Disable intelligent features, and connect your device again. If a new error message appears indicating you need to initalize the device then you know the above applies. It's happened to me too, and yes it sucks. Some people have reported that versions of SonicStage that do not include Connect Store (your device properties would not have the "Authorize" button in this case) never require initalization. Since my similar experience I've installed the Canadian version of SonicStage CP.
