err
Hello,I'm exercising extremely frustrating issue: the SS 4.0 will not allow me to transfer Atrac3plus files compressed with bitrate ranging from 96 to 160 kbit/s to my NW-HD5. The conversion goes just fine only to present “cannot transfer” error.48, 64, 192, 256… transfer and play fine.Anyone any clue?I know I can use mp3, yet I want better battery life, no gaps and slightly better quality I believe. kerfuffle
I think it's because the NW-HD5 doesn't support those bitrates. Originally, the NW-HDx series can only support Atrac3plus in 48kbps, 64kbps and 256kbps. When SonicStage (can't remember which version, I think it was 3.4) released new bitrates, the only new bitrate the NW-HDx could supoort was 192kbps.
