Question

Hi all

Im looking forward to the new Sony NWZX1060B X Series 32GB Walkman MP3 Player being released im currently the owner of A creative vision m which is almost 3 years old it has an additional lineout adaptor which is excellent for connecting in the car.

My question is does the the New Sony have a LINEOUT option or is only the headphone socket the only way I can connect to the car headunit aux, Will the sound quality be better than the Vision M in comparison to the new Sony through the headphone jack ?

At £250 i think its a good player and the battery life looks good but the Linout is a very handy connection which lacks on many new players

thanks all any advice would be appreciated

YES..........sound will be better than Creative.

NO...........Line-out, last time that appeared on a Sony was the HD series. I still use the HD1's Line out feature in my car. It's worth noting at this point that although SONY SQ is unrivaled the output power is quite weak. You will really need to crank up the volume if connecting to a car stereo via headphone jack, which will lower battery life.

Hi all

thaks for the advice ive recently been connecting my vision M from the headphone socket rather than the seperate line out adaptor with the sound at full output it still sounds great I'll definitely look at the Sony when its out and get a demo in the showroom etc I may be tempted as the thought of a touch screen excellent battery life etc sounds tempting

Would a headphone amp solve this problem?

which headphones /earphones are you suppose to use with these ?

actually line out was present in the A1000/A3000 models, although it was via the headphone jack, and volume could only be increased on the stereo itself and not the mp3 player.

Oh! you are right, line out was given on A1000 as well ( I just checked my A1000.)
