Due to the ridiculous Volume Cap on European models of the 700 line, I´d like

to import my next unit from Japan or HK. Does anyone know of a reputable online dealer shipping to Europe?

you could try ebay.com. I see models only from japan and i really like it. they ship from there. or maybe from the US but still its a japanese model with 16 differnet languages and 2gb. this is the NW-A608.

I assume the default menu language is japanese. if so can it be switched to english?

I really dont care for fm reception. I was offered 210 euro incl ems shipping which would be around 319 CAD for you. I´d get one here but the volume cap kills me. I tried one at a local retailer. Sound quality is beyond anything I have heard previously, Navigation alright, Looks stellar and the erabuds spectacular for anything bundled. Sony has a clear winner on its hand.
