carmelo
Hi, I'm the newbie here Sonic Stage 4.2 is basically a bit pants at retreiving any form of album artwork. I haven't downloaded any songs as yet from Connect, but I suspect then it will show artwork. However, those (like me) who would like to use the album artwork thing on the NWS 700 series seem to be a bit stuck. In the end I copied a load of album covers from CDWOW and pasted them into the properties bit on an album. This works, and transfers the pictures to the player fine (dispite the picture being so bad as to make it nearly illegible). I just wanted to ask is there any way of getting the album art for albums without the palava of copying pictures from music sites?I know this feature is a bit of a gimmick in truth, but its fun to play around with things
navsimpson
Firstly, anyone who uses the phrase 'a bit pants' should frequent this forum more often! That is brilliant. Anyway - yes, you're right SS is pants at this. I have a ripped copy of Pearl Jam's "Ten" and it couldn't find the artwork for it - but Mogwai or Tortoise aren't a problem. I figure if it can't find the artwork for "Ten" then it's suspect at best. So, if it doesn't find it when you right-click on 'find cover art/more info', you're copying and pasting method is your only choice. Ah well.-Nav Edited December 3, 2006 by navsimpson
Guest Stuge
Welcome to AtracLife !Are you using Mp3's or Ripping Music using Cd's .If u are using Cd's ,then most of the time SonicStage will pop up cover art of that album ,that you just have to drag & drop to that box(Just below the Music Source ).If using Mp3 ,then you can try searching the cover art by clicking right click & select "Search cover art /More Info" (THis option will take some time search it ).or use Allofmp3 or Amazon.com to search conver art for the particular album. I have tried the "Search cover art /More Info" button and it hasn't worked once. Highly annoying.
