Jonjo
Whilst on SonicStage I tried to transfer a normal mp3 to my Sony Vaio Pocket and got told it wouldn't transfer. So I tried another and it didn't work. When I opened any folder on the device page all the tracks were called 'untitled'. So I unplugged it from the USB and switched it on normally, only to find that it said there were no tracks on it. So I plugged it in again and it said the same thing on SonicStage... but it still says that 5 GB are used up (which is how many I had used before all this happened). Please Help!! It'll take forever to get back the 300+ songs that I had on there!
giki
Hi Jonjo.well there seems to be only one way to save your player and that is to initialize it in the player itself.Once its fresh it shouldnt have any problems and sometimes a single file can corrupt a database or prevent transfer.Remove the offending file and you shall be allright.Anywayz do keep me posted as i have thus device too and could help you out.Cheers
Jonjo
Ok... not sure exactly what you mean!! I can get on the "Initializations" menu but where do I go from there? And I trust you but was wondering what exactly this is going to do?Thanks for your help!
giki
Hi,thats it.go to the initialization menu and perform a hdd format.should set it right.also press the reset button at the bottom to make sure it is done.Do not use SS to initialize the player. kerfuffle
But if you initialise it, you'll lose your 300+ songs on your VAIO pocket. O_O I'm assuming the opening poster doesn't keep every song that he has on his player on his computer.
