kerfuffle
I don't think there's anything you can do except to initialise your friend's MP3 Player. What model number is it?

jonny mac
So you borrowed your pal's player & wiped it? Nice one. Try formating it with Sonicstage although I'm not sure if that will work or not...But the songs are gone.
Christopher
Welcome to the forums. As the others have stated, there is likely no chance that the music can be recovered with conventional methods. If your friend put music on the player via Sonicstage, just have him/her connect the player back to the original computer and reinitialize the unit.
