pata2001
1. Install Service pack 2 (SP2) for winXP for security sake.2. What kind of music you're importing? SS can be finicky on certain types of badly encoded MP3s. 1 thing you can try is to decode the problematic file to WAV, and import the WAV file to SS. maxthrusters
Do you have a large music library?I'm having the same problem and I suspect it's from having a very large music library. To get around the problem I have to transfer only one album at a time. SonicStage shows as Not Responding in the task manager for up to 10 minutes before it resumes and the transfer begins. An iPod using friend was visiting recently and observing the problem, and mocking me for staying with it lol.SonicStage 4.2 (Canadian)VAIO RB53Win XP Home SP2Pentium 4 CPU 3.0 GHz1.50GB RAMCA AntivirusATI video card appWindows firewall
lyle
finally got it to work. Did a complete uninstall per the instructions on this website. Reinstalled-reimported all files-seems to be fine.
