NWA-3000 annoying playback issue

Question

Hi guys - i've had my NWA-3000 since it came out over a year ago and i'm satisfied with the player even those it has had many problem but one problem really bugs me and keeps me from using the player more than i would.

Every time i press pause while listening to an album the player resests the point where playback will stop, so for example if i was to listen to an album from the very beginning and never pause it, the player would stop at the end of the album but if say i was to pause the album 2 minutes from the end the player would then reach the end of the album and loop round to track 1 and proceed to play all the tracks again up to the point i paused the music last.

this is espiescally annoying because on my old sony minidiscs (which i don't have anymore) i could play the last few tracks of any album and get into bed and fall alseep after the music stopped but with the NWA-3000 you have to listen to the whole album or get out of bed and manually stop the album.

the whole thing seems like a glitch to me (sony aren't known for have good programmers working for them)

has anyone found a solution to this?

thanks in advance, Chris.

Same problem (problems). As i see sony made line of harddrive\flash players for those who have no questions about how it works and why it have no stereo. Just enjoy but dont try to understand or rely on it - its toy and nothing more. Seems like first time since i use sony (from 1988 or) i think about how good it may be ... after homebrew reflash.
