mbslrm
I've been trying to install SonicStage 4.3 for the past 48 hours, with no success. Errors (2051, 20697) keep coming up. I've tried Google, and this forum, with no help. I've tried after disabling all non-Microsoft background services, to make sure another app isn't interfering. I've also removed all registries, programs, and directories of SonicStage and OpenMG.I'M DESPERATE!!! HELP ME!!!!

Ishiyoshi
You did mentioned in the other thread that OpenMG Limited Patch did installed as it should. How about OpenMG Secure Module? Were you able to get pass OpenMG Secure Module during the installation process? In any event, before you attempt reinstallation of SonicStage 4.3: remove any remnants of SonicStage if there are still present within your system as outlined under "How to properly reinstall Sonicstage/etc" within our SonicStage Software FAQ. clean your registry with CCleanerIf you are still unable to reinstall the latest version of SonicStage, you may need to consider rebooting your Windows in SAFE mode and proceed accordingly. Good luck and report back if the problem still persists.

I was finally able to install 4.0, though. I tried to install on top of 4.0, but it didn't work out....Anyways, I lost most of my library and 4.0 doesn't have Connect Canada.... Ishiyoshi
To which regional version were you trying to install? Perhaps, you can try installing from the Asia-Pacific or JEB link within this thread.

Perhaps, you can try installing from the Asia-Pacific or JEB link within this thread.I live in Canada, so the Canadian Version.I am able to use SS 4.0. I tried to Install the Canadian Version on top of that, but it didn't work out.I tried with the JEB version from scratch, and the same error (2051, 20697) came up. For a moment, I thought everything I’ve prescribed didn’t work for your case. Well, I am glad it worked now. For your reference, JEB is basically Sony’s designation for “Overseas Model.”
