Adding 2 albums to now playing

Ive asked this before a while ago but i dont think i explained it very well and was miss understood.

Say i have the following Albums

--Artist
  |
  ------Metallica
          |
          ------ S&M CD1
          |
          -------S&M CD2

Now i want to listen to ALL tracks on CD1 and CD2 on random. I cant see how it is possible to get the tracks from these 2 albums on the now playing list other than making a new playlist that is made up of these 2 CDs but that would require having a computer.

Have sony been short sighted and assumed that people will only want to listen to 1 album at a time

I hate the fact that when you are listening to 'shuffle all' and suddenly decide there is a particular song you want to listen to you have to go through the whole root menu sequence over again. Its enough to have made me decide to never buy a Sony mp3 player again.
