Few questions about SonicStage

Hello!

I recently bought NW-S703 with much music on it allready, and now I tried to change it.

The player was set to play music based on playlists, rock, hip hop, trance, etc. and I wanted to delete whole genre, i.e. trance, and it worked.

Well, kinda, it deleted the playlist trance, but space usage was the same. Then I sorted by albums and all albums and artists with trance songs were intact.

And there are like 40 or 50 different albums with only 1or2 songs.

Is there no way to delete whole playlist with matching songs?

And second question.

Is there any way to transfer songs from player to computer? My library?

Deleting songs from Playlist will not delete songs from the player.

That is because the Playlist does not represent physical data stored on the player.

In order to delete your songs from the NW-S703, view album or artist through SonicStage then delete from there.

Also, if your songs have DRM then you can not import the songs from the player. So, when you import songs from CD, uncheck the copy protection box (normally it is unchecked as default).
