I very much doubt if the skin can be changed.

i doubt too, but i saw this link in the minidisc forums

http://www.sonymatome.com/sonicstage/index...%83%BC%E3%82%B9

there they say you can change the skin of SS, and that gets pretty cool!

i looked to the page, but it s in japanes...

if you can take a look would be nice.

1. Download your favorite skin (*.ojs) from one of the following links (click select your favorite skin and download it)

a. http://www.sonymatome.com/sonicstage/index...%83%BC%E3%83%89**

**IE will save ojs as zip. If so, remove the ".zip" extension excluding NW-S710F

b. http://page.freett.com/azy/skin_ss.html

c. http://www18.ocn.ne.jp/~yum/gallary/

d. http://www.evolbird.com/material/sonicstage_skin/

2. Unzip it if needed, and copy the *.ojs file/s into c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation\SonicStage\Skins. ("Application Data" is hidden by default)

3. Now select the skin in SS. Enjoy

OK, I finally found where is the problem. If you download from IE, make sure your default download file type is not "zip" (when windows pop up for your saving location, you can change it). Simplest way: delete the ".zip" extension excluding NW-S710F package.
