Charging Voltage

Can someone confirm whether or not the voltage of the A3000 charger is the same regardless of whether the cable is plugged into the USB of a PC or into the mains with the transformer please.

I want to use the transformer to charge another USB device with the mains (but I don't want to blow it up trying).

AFAIK, the USB voltage is 5v from a PC and this corresponds to the wording on the mains charger pack. In short, they're both 5 volts.
